About the weather

I have my nose cold. And even if I have it, we´re not in Winter.

A thing you should know about spanish weather is that we don't have 4 seasons. No, we only have 3 seasons: winter, summer and winmmer. You'll be asking yourself wtf is winmmer. I just invented the word. Winmmer is a remix between summer and winter. right now is winmmer in Spain.

-Summer: normally between end of april/may and end of september/october. Low temperature: 15-20º. High temperature: 43º.
-Winter: between october and april. It decreases year to year. Low temperature: 0-(-3)º. High teperature: 10-15º.
-Winmmer: not a particular date. This season comes and go when it wants. The temperature is not cold but not hot, so you don´t have idea of what kind of clothes wear. If you're supposed to be in winter, normally you take a coat and then you realises than the underground is still in summer and you began to die of hot. If you're supposed to be in summer, then you'll wear summer clothes and the temperature on the underground will be -53º.

So, how to know what season is in Spain when you want to visit us? simple, probably will be the opposite you want. By the way, maybe is useful a few tips about the best and worst days of the year:
-hottest day of the year: will be that day when I'll have some foreign visit on Madrid and I will have to show them the city. And also that day probably won´t be cold water in the shops.
-coldest day of the year: will be that day when I'm still thinking is winmmer and can go without a coat. I'll pass the next few days with a cold.
-Sunniest day of the year: this is the easier day to guess. Will be the day when I'll go to the beach/pool and i'll forget my suncream. I'll be a schrimp the next 2 weeks and after that i'll be white again.
-Wettest day of the year: this will be the day when I'll put white trousers and sandals. The trousers will be black and my feet like tee bags.
